For this project, I want to make an animation that involves some sort of fluid movement. Because I have spent most of the semester working in Blender, I want to focus on 2D hand-drawn animation. I will probably take a video of something, import it into either Procreate or Illustrator/photoshop, and draw each frame by hand. Based on my experience doing digital illustration, I feel that procreating might be the easier choice and the most versatile one since I have more accessibility to it within my tablet. The video of the object I’m thinking of doing is either some kind of jello or a spinning bear. Still, I want to make sure it doesn't clash with my project for the remix class, so I think I might add some types of changing expressions within the animation so that it could work with or portray an emotion towards the remix project. Regarding objects for the projections, I might create masks for all the stuffed animals I will put in the scene; I’m not entirely sure what background I will use. Still, I want a dollhouse because my projections involve some toy or plush. If I express myself, I also want to make a clown-like face because I feel like clowns are expressive in their emotions. Often, they can be used as entertainment or as an expression of resentment, which I think would be interesting to add with a moving element. Also, I’m not entirely sure of the format, but because I’m not sure about the mapping background, I will buy the demo version of Madmapper to make my setup easier.
