This project is one i am really proud of. when brainstorming for this project I knew I wanted to do a popup book or a scene that looks like one. SO when I had figured out which elements from my sketch I wanted to use I took the image and created an outline to cut it out with the laser cutter. Then I began gluing the pieces to the wooden book box that we had, at that I realized to back looks really ugly and bland I knew I needed to create a background so I took some images of flowers as a reference and began making a background. I think the hardest park of the project for me was the lights. By the time I decided to add lights I didn't know how I was going to get the wires through in a way that doesn't stand out but I managed to create a space between the blades of grass to string it through.
